Running a real estate team means a constant stream of email: client conversations, offer documents, disclosures, inspection reports, and escrow updates. For years we just rummaged our way through email without having a clear plan of how to organize our system. That stopped working once our volume grew, so I started looking for a better way to keep everything organized and backed up.
What I was trying to solve
My main problems were:
- I wanted email to be simple and clean.
- I wanted to be able to share and organize with the team.
- I didnt want to have ANOTHER software system.
Then I found CloudHQ
It's like a simple add-on to your Gmail and gives you a little bit of customization without making you learn an entirely new software system. Imagine it as a multi-tool to the powerful engine you already have! One of the very first things that I installed was Conversation View, which allowed the newest and most recent email in a thread to always show up at the top rather than needing to scroll all the way to the bottom. My second favorite is shared labels. This gives our team the ability to share emails back and forth rather than setting up a whole collaborative Google Inbox. We have a simple shared label. It keeps it clean, and low setup is required.
What Im Amazed By
Sometimes people put out a good app, and the buck stops there, but I'm constantly surprised by the new things cloudHQ is putting out! I always get excited when I see a new feature that I could possibly adopt into our system.
What could be better
No tool is perfect. I think having more clear instructions on what the app is and how to use it would make it easier for more people to adopt this tool.
Who I'd recommend it to
If you handle a high volume of email with important attachments, such as agents, brokers, transaction coordinators, or small business owners, cloudHQ is worth a look. It's especially useful if you want an automatic, hands-off way to keep Gmail organized and backed up in Google Drive.
Bottom line
Honestly, with using cloudHQ for as long as I have, I truly couldn't see my Gmail the same without it! You can try it at https://www.cloudhq.net.
